The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) recently introduced its new Innovation Index to provide economic developers a tool to compare a specific region's innovation performance with that of the nation, a state, or other regions. Additionally, users have the ability to design their own region and easily make comparisons across regions. An innovation map generated using the data supplied in the Innovation Index is included as an example below.
